A Brazilian PCA church in Danbury since 1974, Christian Community Church now shares office, worship, and teaching space with Christ the Shepherd at 52 Stadley Rough Road. All are welcome to attend Christian Community Church on Sunday mornings at 11:15 a.m., where its Portuguese-language service is translated into English via headphones.
One of Christ the Shepherd’s supported mission outreaches, Hopeline Pregnancy Resource Center is a is a compassionate, Christ-centered, pro-life pregnancy center that we are proud to partner with in serving the city of Danbury. Hopeline offers free pregnancy tests, diagnostic ultrasounds, adoption referrals, abortion recovery, material resources for new moms and babies, parenting classes, support groups, relationship counseling and healthy relationship education.

Christ the Shepherd was a mission church of Christ Presbyterian Church in New Haven, Ct. until May 2015, when we were ready to become a particularized (self-governed) church in our own right within the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).
